Beauty is all about perception. It is a term that refers to a physical attribute of a person, place, thing, or idea. Throughout the ages, perception of the beauty of the female human form has changed to follow societal inclinations. There is truth to the statement that beauty if only skin deep, for beauty again is only the physical perception of a human being.
A great tip when it comes to beauty is to not overdue the makeup. Often times novices have a tendency to put on too much make up and as such make themselves look worse. Use makeup sparingly, and you'll find you will be turning guys heads everywhere you go.
Use fake eyelashes. They are actually easy to apply and can be found at a cheap price. They can really enhance the look of your eyes and are great for creating that dramatic look. You can use a look like this anytime, but it's often a look many try to go for at night.
If you are trying to enhance your hazel or green eyes, try to look for certain colors that bring out the gold flecks and the green so it almost looks like it is candlelight. Try shades of dark purple, steely grey, golden brown and pale lavender for the best effect.
To brighten dull dry skin in the winter, find a highlighter or moisturizer with just a hint of pink or gold shimmer to it. This glowing tone can be achieved with a subtle application that emphasizes the cheeks and brow. Make sure you stop here; any more application will cause you to appear shiny.
Pale or sparse eyebrows can be quickly and easily filled in to make them appear thicker and fuller. Use a disposable mascara wand to brush on dark brown eye shadow or mascara onto the brows, then comb it through with another disposable brush to smooth out the color and remove clumps.
To keep feet looking beautiful, especially during the warmer, dryer summer months, try applying Vaseline to them every day. It will keep them smooth and soft. Then go get yourself a pedicure and a pair of brand new sassy sandals, and you'll have the best looking feet of the season.
It's important to buy backups of any product you use a lot. These should be kept in a convenient place, such as your drawer at work, and the other can stay at your house. This is a great way to stay prepared in case you need to reapply your makeup.
Separate products for softening, protecting, and coloring are no longer necessary! Try using a tinted moisturizer instead of a typical foundation. You can save yourself a lot of time and money buying a lightly tinted moisturizer with a sunscreen to replace the heavier old-fashioned foundations and creams.
Use conditioner on your legs. The very same conditioners you use to treat your tresses can be used to replace your shaving creams. Conditioners are cheaper and have more staying power than your usual creams. You also can save shower time by not having to fumble with more than one product.
Rosewater or cucumbers are great to erase dark circles under your eyes. These will naturally cool and calm your eyes while lightening the skin underneath them. Moisten a cotton pad with either cucumber juice or rosewater, and then place the pads over your eyes for approximately 15 minutes.
Everyone's perception of beauty is different. Where one person finds beauty in frozen lakes and snow-capped mountains, another can find beauty in the barren and stark landscape of the desert. Where one woman finds chest hair on men beautiful, another may find beauty in a shaved skull. Beauty is all about the person who perceives the beauty.
